Heather shares insights about her charity work as a volunteer over the years
Huge thanks to Helen Knight for inviting me to speak this morning at a Charity Networking event at Shropshire Chamber of Commerce.
It was wonderful to see so many people representing charity work in and around Shropshire.
I shared some interesting insights from the ONS around third sector employment and trustee board demographics as well as some of my personal experiences of being a volunteer trustee in a number of organisations at various stages and challenges in their history.
I also reflected on many of the things I have learned about charities through my work as a consultant working with a wide range of charities over the last 16 years since I launched Salt Solutions (Consultancy) Ltd.
